Official Golf Course Measuring 2024
Accurate course measuring service available throughout the year. An updated certificate of measurements for all your tees is requested by Golf Ireland to fulfil the ‘Course Rating’ requirements. The Course Rating calculation requires the Golf Ireland team to evaluate the obstacles, hazards and effective length corrections for every hole. Our measuring package includes:
- Full 9 or 18 hole GPS course survey for all tee markers
- An Officially recognised certificate
- On course checking of fairway plates (100, 150 & 200 markers)
On completion of the measuring project, your club will have accurate lengths for each hole recorded using modern techniques following Golf Ireland and World Handicap System guidelines.

Drone surveying services
As part of the initial concept stage in design we will use a drone to capture information on scale and topography of the property to create essential 3D Photogrammetry imagery and LiDar maps. This will add to the effectiveness of the design concepts and further filming, during construction will allow us to monitor projects efficiently. When the seeding takes place, it will also be very easy to view the golf course and ensure consistency in the growth.
Drones are becoming more and more common in the Golf Course environment. They can be sophisticated and very beneficial, not only in surveying, but in other areas of promotion, marketing and maintenance of the golf course.

Naturally, we have all the relevant licences and certifications required to fly our drones to the heights required to capture surveys and perfect footage of your course.
